Mountain Dell Canyon is a fun place to go when the snow pack is good
The road to East Canyon is gated off during the Winter season and is shared with cross country skiers, snowshoers, hikers, and snowmobiles.
If you would like to get off the road, the Mormon Pioneer/California Trail follows the road up the canyon. And where the trail crosses the road, you can even make a loop.
NO PARKING FEES during winter months.
RESTROOM: Available at the parking area.
NO DOGS allowed, this is a watershed area.
DIRECTIONS: From Salt Lake City, take I-80 up Parley's Canyon, take exit 134 and turn left, travel up the road, at the junction, continue toward East Canyon until the road is gated. Use the reservoir parking lot.
