AVENUES TWIN PEAKS

PERRY HOLLOW TRAILHEAD

Enjoy a wonderful hike above the Avenues, in the foothills by the U. Looking like a pyramid from Salt Lake Valley, this is an energetic hike to reach both summits. From the gate, follow the jeep road as it winds around the first hill where the trail splits.  (The main trail to the left is the Bob Sled, used by downhill mountain bikers.)  Take the narrow trail to the right and follow the jeep road up the ridge, you'll cross over the junction to the Bonneville Shoreline trail, keep an eye on the twin peaks on your right, the trail will take you up the back side to the summits. Enjoy great views of the valley!
