Bonneville Shoreline Loop

BONNEVILLE SHORELINE TRAIL

A great mountain bike ride if you are limited for time.  Good exercise climbing up the hills, and a great ride on your return trip.

RED BUTTE to DRY CREEK LOOP
DIRECTIONS:  Park at Colorow Road (2310 East) and Wakara Way (300 South), outside the main entrance to Red Butte Gardens.   The trail begins at the stop sign.   Enjoy riding through the enchanted forest up to the Bonneville Shoreline trail.  Turn right, traveling north past the new Natural History Museum, and drop down a hill.   When you come to a paved road, make a right and look for a trail marker on the left side of the road.    Take the lower Bonneville route up the hill.   The dirt road becomes a single track.  When drop down to hill near Dry Creek the trail splits.  Take the upper trail to the upper loop and return back to Red Butte Gardens.  Stay on the upper trail until the last path that drops back down.
